The Ultimate Entertainment Space, Solihull

Eye-catching. That's the only way to describe this project. The most challenging part of designing this garden was to fit everything in and make it look in proportion and as eye catching as possible. We had an L-Shape patio to work with, with the majority of the usable area to the right of the property and we had to fit in a hot tub area, seating space with fire/tv area, outdoor kitchen & bar and those areas also had to be covered with a pergola which had to have retractable sides and a closable roof.

To give the effect of a sunken hot tub area, we created a block wall around it with two steps up, giving the illusion of a sunken hot tub but in fact it was a raised area. For an added dimension, we sunk the 'entertainment area' by 20cm and added a perimeter wall (20cm) to give the illusion of a 40cm drop. Height was added in the form of an outdoor kitchen/bar with bespoke spotlight frame as well as the feature tv/fireplace wall finished in porcelain cladding (centre) and composite cladding (pillars)
